Dear Community Members,

Spring soccer will start the first week of April, 2019 and will run through May 18, 2019.

There will be a Spring Soccer meeting at the Ogden Main Library, 2464 Jefferson Ave, Ogden, Utah 84401, on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. -12:00 noon.

During this meeting all coaches are invited to pick-up gear needed for the spring season, specifically balls, cones, bags, flags and for 5-8U coaches, a 4X6 Bownet for their practices and to use on the pitch for games, to prevent the setup/teardown.

The Spring 2019 soccer season will continue as planned; however, the volunteers administering the program will only be with ASYO through the end of the spring playing session. They are members of Ogden Soccer Club which has been organized to provide a new soccer program to serve the greater Ogden community starting in May of 2019. These caretaker volunteers have continued to fill their positions in the absence of permanent AYSO replacements and will not be continuing to provide this service to AYSO at the end of the 2018-2019 season.

For 2019 Spring Soccer these caretaker volunteers from Ogden Soccer will be executing the soccer season so that schedules are in place, fields are ready, and teams are supported as a continuation from 2018 Fall session. They will also be assisting Ogden Soccer to begin to form teams, train coaches and register players for Fall 2019 and Spring 2020. Anyone interested in volunteering for AYSO will be provided information to do so at the community meeting

Anyone with questions about AYSO spring session and the transition being made by the individuals who have worked over the years to provide the Ogden community with the soccer opportunities you and your family have come to enjoy is encouraged to come to this meeting which is being hosted by Ogden Soccer and provided to ensure that there is no disruption to the 2019 AYSO spring session
